Try downloading the exe again. Or it might be the old version won't allow
the update. In that case do a repair on it. Or if you have a older version
as JAWS 11 uninstall the Version 12 and than try to run the EXE.

downloaded it from freedomscientific itself. Using toshiba windows xp.
