Hi,
I, too, had similar problems when I up-dated JAWS12. Did you run or save the
program from the site? I tried for the first time to run it from the site,
but I'll never do that again. They do recommend that you don't run the
program, but rather save it and install it yourself.

I Just installed the latest build of Jaws 12 and it locked up my computer
so
badly that David and I had to perform a System Restore. I'm not sure what
happened but David says that he is running the same software on his
Windows
7 machine without a problem.
Maybe someone can figure out what might have happened.
I'm using Windows 7 professional, Jaws 12 and Outlook 2003 on a 64 bit
system.
Suddenly, the cursors wouldn't focus on the message. It was there but
both
the PC and Jaws cursors were frozen.
I could find the message with the Invisible cursor but it was way down the
page and all kinds of other non-related things were on the same screen.
Does anyone have any idea what was going on?
