Many thanks for the suggestion, I have just worked it out. Those who are interested, go to the control panel and then, programme and features. Tab across to the link "installed updates" and hit enter. A list of all installed updates will be displayed in alphabetic order. Now, you can use first letter navigation until you hear "Windows internet explorer 9" press enter again and the option to uninstall is there.

Does anyone know how to downgrade to IE 8 using Vista Business platform. I have already tried programmes and features option in the control panel without luck.
