Garry, look up your settings please and maybe I will find out what my
problem is. If I leave jaws set to intermediate it says one read, or two
read, etc., but on advanced, it says nothing. Jim

Jim, When I navigate down the folder list, JAWS tells me how many messages
are unread and perhaps the total. When I tap the space bar, I usually am put
in the list of messages for that folder. If you need, I could lookup my
settings. I don't think my usage of Outlook 2010 has anything to do with
processing the folders and messages since I have always have been using
Outlook for some good long time. Perhaps I used Outlook 2007; history
becomes a fog after a while.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] a problem with jaws 12 and outlook 2007.

Hi All, I am running windows 7, jaws 12, latest update, outlook 2007, on a
64 bit machine. Here's the problem.

If I have my jaws verbosity set to advanced, I do not hear how many unread
messages are in any one folder in outlook 2007. I would like to keep my
verbosity set to advanced, so is there any way to have jaws tell me how many
unread messages are in a folder? Jim
