Mandy,
Type programs and features in the windows search box. Scroll down to
Microsoft Windows updates. Look for IE9 and right-click it. Now, you can
uninstall it and revert back to your previous internet explorer verson.

Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

Hi All.
We are having a problem with Internet Explorer 9 and have been told that
there is no way to remove the information bar so wish to remove it and go
back to Internet 8 but can’t find out in programmes what it comes under.
