George, in addition to this, if you have Openbook on your laptop, you can
very easily use your Blazer, I do it all the time.
I don't believe you can do some of the fancy stuff that programs like
Duxburry let you do, but you can certainly create a good quality, Grade II
Braille document with OPenbook and a Blazer.
If you decide to take a shot at this let me know and I'll splain it better.

The first part, I don't know.  Unless others have used the Blaver with Win 7,
I don't know if your driver would work.  I think Freedom Scientific took over
the Blazer printer as part of the Blazie Engineering demise.

There are some free Braille translation programs out there.  WinTrans comes
to mind.  I don't have the website for it, but you should be able to Google
it.
