With the file open, tab around to the Seek left/right slider. It gives a time elapsed value in seconds for the file so far played. On this, Press down-arrow to move back in the file. this causes movement of 1/20th of the file length. Shift+arrow key(s) causes movement of 1/400th; and ctrl+shift+arrow causes movement of 1/8000th (of the file length).

Subject: [JAWS-Users] How do you rewind a file, while listening to it in windows media player 12?

I am trying to memorize some choir music from a file, and I'd like to go back a little bit in phrases sometimes to check myself on notes. How do you do that while listening to a file? I am running windows 7, home premium, windows media player 12,jaws 12, latest update, on a 64 bit machine. Thanks for your help.
David, will this get me an A in subject line 101? Grin. Jim
