I'm hoping that whatever issue I'm having has resolved itself with this latest version, so I think I'll take the plunge. Basically, the issue is this: I can't specify a directory to save files in. If I try, Firefox crashes. I've tried both with Jaws 12 and NVDA, and versions 3.6 and 4 of Firefox. Finally, I had to settle on it saving files to the default directory, which bypasses the dialog box. I have no idea what this could be, but it's frustrating to say the least. I never had issues like this on my XP machine. It's only since purchasing a machine running Vista that I've encountered this. So, I guess I'll go download Firefox 5 now and see what happens.
