When I press the spacebar on the jaws setup button on the DVD I am presented with the welcome to the jaws setup package dialog box. I can press enter on next or enter on cancel here. I of course press next. After hearing please wait while your system is configured for Jaws I then get a message saying that another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this product can not continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product Please use add or remove on the control panel. A repair or modify or even continue the installation screen does not come up as an option. Maybe FS could consider placing repair or modify as an option in the utility section in a future release.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] re-uninstalling Jaws v12

Hi Lmorris, to repair Jaws from the dvd: just put your Jaws 12 dvd in your computer and close the tray, just act like you are installing it for the first time. You will come to a screen which will ask you if you want to repair this version of jaws.
Press the space bar on the repair option.
Jaws will say, Repairing jaws please wait.
After repairing Jaws the program will need you to do a restart of the computer.
I hope this helps.
You can do a repair off the Jaws dvd, this is the easiest way.
god bless.
