David, thank you so much.  It worked perfectly.  My old computer was an 11
year old Windows XP machine with Word 2000 on it.  My new one is a Windows 7
with Office 2010.  There are so many things that are different, but having
people like you and others on the JAWS-Users list, I am gradually getting
things configured the way I am used to them.

Hello there;

Try the following;
Open MSWord,


Insert+#6 on the numbers row,=run jaws manager dialog;

2, now press the letter "s" until you hear settings center, press enter.

3,  now press "s" until you hear speech and sound schemes, press enter.
And down-arrow until you hear modify scheme, press enter.
4, now tab and enter on, edit selected scheme, press enter.
5, now ctrl+tab until you hear,
Attributes tab,
6, now down arrow until you hear super script,
Now, tab and arrow to ignore,
Now tab and enter on okay,
Now tab to save button,
Now alt f4 and say yes to save changes.
