  one way to do this is to open the Word Count dialogue - alt-t, w. JAWS
  then starts reading the statistics. You are on the Close button. To take
  the individual stats, Route JAWS to PC and then arrow down. towards the
  end you will find the number of lines. Press PC cursor when done.

  There are probably JAWS Skim Reading/Text Anylyzer keystrokes that will
  give this info as well.
