Thanks for that information. I was using C:\jaws12 /default and of course that did not work.

I hope that vicky can use it to check out her settings to see if that is her problem.

Hi,

If you suspect problems with your Jaws settings, you may want to run
Jaws default. This will bring Jaws up without your settings and you
can see if the settings are a problem.

Unfortunately I don't know the run dialog to run Jaws as a default.
Perhaps someone on the list can guide you on how to do this?
