Hi David, With IE open, press Insert / Jaws key + V, for Jaws options. 2. Press the letter P, until you land onn Progress Bar. If Jaws says, Progress bar spoken, you can press escape to close Jaws options. If Jaws says, progress bar silent, press the spacebar until Jaws reads progress bar spoken & press enter to save changes & close.
Again with IE open; 1. Press Insert / Jaws key + 6, on the number row above the main keyboard to open the configuration manager. 2. Press Alt + S, to open Set Options & press the letter U, to open user options. 3. You should be on, announce progress bar updates. The default setting is 5 second intervals. 4. Tab to okay, press enter, press control + S, to save your changes, & Alt + F4 to close. Someone please jump in if I've missed something or if I'm wrong to correct me. Hope this helps. Take care.
