Thanks, this kind of worked.
I was in "microsoft word" , and made the changes then closed out.
When I looked in the files, the document was not there.
I closed out and opened "my documents" and found it there.
Hmmmmm.
Thanks again.

Hi Rich,
With the title of the Word document highlighted do the following;
1. Press the F2 key. This opens an edit field. Jaws will say," F2 edit,
name of the document."
2. With the title of the document edit field now open you can change any
or
all of the title except the file extension. If you happen to delete or
alter the file extension, just remember to type the correct file extension
at the end of the title after you have changed it.
3. After you have made all of your title changes, press enter to close the
edit field & save the changes.
Hope this helped. Take care.
Mike

I have 12.0 andXP pro.
In a word document that has been saved; How do you change the title?
Is there a key stroked to do this or, do I have to make a copy of it in a
new document and enter the new title?
Thanks for your help.
Rich
