Thanks, I'll have him try muteing Jaws first and see if that does the trick.
Thanks!

Try it with firefox. As for IE8 and JAWS: BRING IT TO THE ATTENTION OF
fs, ESPECIALLY IF THE LATEST jaws BUILD DOESN'T FIX IT. THERE IS AN
EMBEDDED PLAYER WHICH LAUNCHES IN A NEW BROWSER WINDOW. I think it's a
JAWS issue there because IE8 stays open. I also lost sound till i
unloaded and/or killed JAWS. The radio station then came on. I then
reloaded JAWS- though I have to say i was using an external synthesizer.
Another method, if he'd like to try it, is the No Speech way of
JAWSkey+space, s. This may not work, but could be worth a try to avoid
having to reboot.
One of the best ways of killing JAWS - APART FROM CTRL+jaws+F4 - is to
open the Task manager and press the letter j, alt-e, (end Task), and
then press enter. Do this as often as may be necessary. Then reload
JAWS. (Close the Task manager.)

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Playing and audio link.
I have a friend that is using Jaws 12, Windows XP and IE 8. When he goes
to, www.klpw.com and enters on the, listen live link, he loses all sound
and has to reboot his PC.
I am using Jaws 12, Windows 7 and IE 9 and don’t have a problem playing
that link.
I had him to highlight that link, unload Jaws and then enter on the link
and the radio station plays OK.
This happens to him on his desk top and lap top with the same setup on
both.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Denny Huff
