HI John, 1 thing you can try is to use the updater that is in Adobe's preferences. 1. Open Adobe from your shortcut on your desktop or start menu. 2. With the Adobe window open, press control + K, to open preferences, or press Alt + E, for the edit menu, arrow up to preferences & press enter. 3. In preferences, press the letter U, until you have Update highlighted, now tab to the update options, arrow up / down to make your choice, tab to okay, press enter to save & close preferences, & Press Alt + F4 to close Adobe.
I don't know how long it will take Adobe to let you know that a newer version is available but, it is an option. Take care. I still have Adobe 9 on my system and thought it might be adviseable to update to the current Adobe X. But I can't seem to find the right one on Adobe.com. Can someone tell me which version is accessible with jaws and how to identify the correct version on that site? I am using Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit and Jaws 12, Version 12.0.1169. gJOHN AND LINDA JUSTICE WITH GUIDE DOGS JAKE AND ZACHARY PERSONAL E-MAIL: <mailto:john_just...@verizon.net> john_just...@verizon.net For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
