Hello there;
I'm going from memory here!
I believe to stop hearing
Space marker, you can use the keystroke,
Ctrl+shift+#8 on the numbers row, while your in MSWord.
Or you could,
Alt+t=tools,

O=options,
I believe you will land on the view page, now tab and uncheck all,

Hope this helps.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] stopping Jaws from saying space marker

Hi list. I have a couple of files for my course. I am finding, that Jaws is
saying space marker a lot. It is almost after every word. It is also saying
paragraph marker at times too. I haven't experienced this with previous
files. It makes reading the text rather awkward. Is there a setting I can
change to stop this?
I am using Jaws 12 on a XP home system. And I am using word 2003. Although,
I think some of the files may originally have been PDF documents.

Thanks Jason
