ok, I tried to run this thing down, but I don't get something that you apparently do, you said something to the effect that when you tried a search recently in the labs, you got your results in a current google search format, correct?

how was it displayed before this? I don't remember how things were displayed in the past, and I never had a google account so have no point of reference.

and two, yes, as of the 16th of this month google labs is a goner, though some of the sub divisions are supposed to be moved to other places or other arrangements.

they still want you to have a google account to access the android application maker stuff though unfortunately, I could get interested in that!

anyway, I have a Email saying that to change things to do with searches and how the results are displayed, you go into your account preferences, and in a part called Query Suggestions. the user unchecked "Do not provide query suggestions in the search box."
and wound up with No search clutter.

I think there should be a link there somewhere that will fix that, I've
never gotten this new version, but I'm still using my tried and true (even
if it is moldy around the edges) Il.E.6 so that may have some to do with it.

if you keep having trouble or can't find the google basic link, let me know
and I'll go try to find the one or two notes I made about it.

Hi,

Is anyone using labs.google.com and if so are they experiencing the
following?

You type in your search, press enter and when the list of results come
up get this custom google search thing. What I mean is when I try to
read the results, its like the results from google and not how it
normally is displayed for labs.google. Man, I hope I am making sense.
I cannot move by heading or anything like that. If you understand what
I am saying, please provide a response. If not, go ahead and write
back and yell at me and I will try to explain better off list.

Thankyou.
