Hi, I just fixed the subject line to say 2010 instead of 20101. Take
care.

WARNING! REGARDING DELETING OUTLOOK DATA FILES!
  MARVIN,
You need to be very careful about deleting certain data files in outlook
2010. Removing some of them might render messages completely unreadable.
Mike asked you this question, indirectly. I'm going to put it straight
from
  the shoulder.
If you are just beginning to use outlook 2010, why in heaven's name would
you want to do something that risky?
Outlook data files take up very little memory. Please explain if you
don't
mind, why you would want to remove them.

  Hi Marvin

In Outlook 2010, the default location for the Outlook PST file, which
holds
the messages, calendar etc, is my documents/outlook. However, each folder
created in Outlook 2010 can have a different PST file in a different
location. To find the location and PST file for any folder, do the
  following:

  1. While in the message list for any mail folder, press alt+f to open the
  file menu.
  2. Tab 3 times until you get to account settings.
  3. Press enter to open the drop down b menu and then press enter again.
  4. You should be on the e-mail tab. Press right arrow to move to the data
  files tab.
  5. Press Shift+tab to move to the list view which will show you the name
and location of the PST file.

I'm not sure why you would want to delete the Outlook data folder. But if
Outlook is not running in the foreground or background, you should be able
to delete it or individual PST files with Windows Explorer.

To have messages read automatically when they are open, while in a message
press JAWSkey+v. Arrow down to reading options and then arrow down to
messages automatically read. If it doesn't say on, press space bar until
it
  says on. Then press enter.

To have a message automatically opened when you delete a message, do the
  following:
  1. Press alt+f to open the file menu.
  2. Arrow up or down until you are on the Help tab.
  3. Press tab until you're at options and press enter 4. Arrow up or down
until you are on the mail tab.
  5. Press shift+tab until it says After moving or deleting an open item.
You
can find this with just the tab key, but it takes a lot more presses.
  6. Use the down arrow to cycle through the choices.
  7. . When you find the option you want, press tab to go to the OK button
  and press enter.

As you probably have discovered, it can be very difficult to read a HTML
message in outlook itself. The quickest way to do this after you open a
HTML message is to press alt+h for the Message tab. If you're not using
the virtual ribbons of JAWS 12, then press a (for actions) and v (for view
in browser). These keystrokes sometimes work even when using the virtual
ribbons. If they don't, press alt+h to open the Message tab. Arrow down
to
the Move submenu, and right arrow to open it. Arrow down to the actions
drop down and press space. Then press v.

The problem with reading HTML messages in outlook appears to be due to the
fact that JAWS doesn't realize that it is in an HTML message. The HTML
navigation keys are not active. If you were to press JAWSkey+f7 to open
the
links list when you first get into the html email, JAWS says not in spell
checker. However, I have found that I can read most HTML messages in
Outlook itself if I press alt+tab to move away from the message and
immediately press it again to move back to the message. Then the message
will read fine and the HTML navigation keys work. This doesn't work for
all
HTML messages and there are still some I have to view in the browser.

  Hi.

I have windows 7 professional, upgraded from windows vista, and using
jawsw

And how to use it, and what is the outlook data folder, the favorites
  folder.

And how to delete the outlook data folder.

And also, when I delete a message, how to get it to read automatically.

Did try to put windows mail on windows 7, but did not work out.

So got Microsoft office professional 2010.

  And got outlook professional 2010.

So any tips, tricks, suggestions, to improve the reading of outlook with
  jaws 12.

  Marvin.
