Kathy,
Go to Programs and Features. Click on the Windows Update area. Right-click
IE9 and you can choose to uninstall it.
I'm going from memory but I think those are the correct steps.

Jaws works with internet explore 9 but to a degree. I would go back to
using ie 8 if you can.
