I know of no quick fix myself, but I imagine that one could cause jaws to do both by a combination of the scripts into one set of rules. if there isn't another way as well that's less traumatic!

Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a way you could get JAWS to read the title attribute of a link as well as the screen text of the link.

For example if I go to a website and the link says something like click here to play the video and then the title attribute has been added to the link to say this will open in a new browser window, JAWS will not read the title attribute so I am not informed about the opening in a new window, if I change JAWS settings to read title for links, I am then only told about opening in a new window, and not actually told what the link is, i.e. that its a video.

This is very frustrating as I can do this by default on a Mac.

Hope someone can help.
