I had the same problem yesterday. Whenever I typed a search phrase into the
Google search edit field and hit Enter, nothing happened, and the search
field was blank as if I had not typed anything. So I clicked on Options,
then Search Settings, and discovered that Google Instant was selected. I
have no idea how this happened, but I unselected it, hit the save
preferences button, and now Google is working normally again.

Gerald, I just found that out. It seems that google instant is checked
by default . Damn Google for messing with their original settings.
I am going to make that change as well. I thank you

So far have not had any problems with regular google, and google
chrome is a browser by google. The release version is not all that
accessible. However, some of the baitas are and sometime the public
release will also.
