Hi Mike.
If you are moving to the shortcut for a program, and press alt+enter on it,
and be aware of, that you are on the shortcut tab, than tab to the compobox
Run as, and arrow down to "Maximized" and tab to ok, and press enter.
Now this program always will start in a maximized window.
Just before the compobox Run as, you have the ability to add a shortcut key
to this shortcut, so you always can start the program by pressing this
shortcut key combination instead of moving to the desired shortcut.
Good luck.
Hans Pauli.

Hi David,
Thank you very much for your reply & explanation / input. Would it be
better to run this script than running Autosizer, in your opinion? Thanks
again, take care.

I forgot to add that it is more useful in windows 7 since auto siser does
not seem to work all that well in that system, add to that the fact since
JAWS is already running there is no need for yet another program to sit in
your system tray.

It works in classic display mode where there are the symbols in the upper
right hand corner for maximizing ETC. It functions like this.
I use it in notepad but it will work on other programs as well. In notepad
I
have an auto start function which calls auto maximize encoded in my
default
script. Auto maximize looks to see if there is a symbol that says maximize
in the corner as I mentioned. If it finds such a symbol it performs a left
mouse click which maximizes the window. The thing is it does that so
quickly
it is almost transparent to the user. Some times I can catch it working
but
normally it just does it so fast it's not even an issue.
You do need to feel comfortable in the script files but it does not take
much programming ability to install it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Maximize Windows function script
Hi SeƱor Ferrin,
I noticed a script under the Jaws heading of the Scripts page for
maximizing
windows. This is the description given; 1. Function To Maximize Most any
Window Automatically
How would running this script work , opposed to running the Autosizer
program? All advice & input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much,
take care.
Mike
