Patti,

Tried this nifty program but didn't work too well on my
backup 750 GB USB backup drive. I had 13 directories on it
before installing the eject.exe file and running it. The
message said it was safe to disconnect or unplug the drive.
I did this and next time I plugged it in to check it I only
had 10 directories. Fortunately I recopied what was lost but
feel I can't trust this utility. Have you had any similar
occurrences?

Al

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Thumb drive eject

Hey Gang,
Here is a little program that goes on the root of a thumb
drive or your
external drive.
All you have to do is copy the .exe to the main folder, or
the root of
whatever you want to remove.
When you get done using your thumb drive press enter on
eject and it closes
everything down, so you can remove it safely.
I will leave it in my dropbox until Friday morning, and then
it will be
deleted.
Yes David it is a free share.
Oh, in that folder there is a help txt file, but all you
need to copy is the
eject.exe file.
