Hi all, I'm really hoping someone on this list can help me, since I've posted to several mac lists and haven't found a resolution. I'm running Windows 7 and Jaws 12 on my mac, using vmware fusion. My mac has eight gigs of ram, but unfortunately, it is less stable than my vm with jaws 11 and windows xp on much weaker position. The biggest problem is that jaws frequently stutters, and sometimes the speech will speed up for a few seconds before slowing back down. The machine does not appear to be running out of memory, and the fan isn't going, suggesting that the processor is not overloaded either. I can't tell if this is a jaws issue, a windows 7 issue, or a vmware fusion issue. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Am I better off with the jaws 13 beta, or reverting back to windows xp? Funnily enough, on my previous vm, when I had jaws 12 and xp, I experienced stuttering but can't recall whether it was similar to the problem I have now. -Tasha ,
