Hi Margaret, I've played around some more, and found that the reason you can't get it to work is that it doesn't work! To be more precise, received after on its own works fine, but received before is messed up. Used on its own it actually behaves as received after, and used in conjunction with received after, it's junk. Interestingly, windows live mail 2009 doesn't have this bug. You could search something along the lines that Brian Lee suggested, though it's probably easier doing this in windows explorer, since there's there's a list of results which you can return to after opening any of the results. David. origina message: David,
Thank you very much for your instructions. However, I'm still not able to get it to work the way it is supposed to. I'm getting no results when I know there are some since there are messages in the message list view for the date ranges I've tried. I tried doing it in another folder just in case there was something odd going on with the In-Box and didn't have any luck there either. I tried seeing if having the window maximized might help, but it said not available , so it was already maximized. I've tried it with alt-c which used to work in OE to get right to the date section after pressing Control-Shift-F and tabbing through until I got to it and neither way made any difference. The frustrating thing is that alt-h for attachment has a proper check box here. I don't know if maybe labeling graphics might help?
