no. the check for updates only works to update current versions, such as a
new version of jaws 12. to update to a hole new version, you have to either
install it from a DVD or download it from the website.

Thanks but I can't find where to download the actual jaws 13. I get
the downloads for jaws training and all that, but not the actually
