Hi marvin: You can not remove windows defender so you don’t have to worry about it, it is turned off unless you turn it on. windows defender is an extra layer of protection on your computer, it’s ok to have it on with whatever antivirus program you are running. for example, I have the paid version of AVG, and it works just fine. As far as removing your other program. Go to program and features. Arrow down to the program which you want to remove, this will highlight it. Press the applications key. Arrow down to uninstall and press enter and follow the prompts. I hope this helps...
