Well, I use IE 8, and honestly, i can't tell the difference between a new
tab and a new window if all I want is a link to be opened in a separate
window from the page I'm currently on. The functionality is the same either
way.
Control+W will close the window regardless, or if you have multiple tabs
open and forget and do an Alt+F4, IE will prompt you about closing all tabs
or the current tab.
My Dentist says I need to be more aggressive when flossing, so I'm going to
start barking.

Shift enter should open a new window.

I commonly use the Insert, F7 command to open a list of
links.
When I enter on one of these links, is there a way to have
it open in a new
window?
Blessings,
Tom
