Outlook 2010

Mark and David, I was having a similar problem reading
certain E mail
messages in outlook 2010 with Jaws 13 and I talked to FS and
they gave me a
solution for reading those web pages that do not read. The
solution is to
have the E mail read in the web browser and the command is
Shift plus insert and the letter W as in william. You go to
the web page
and read the message and it works fine.
This may not be the solution to your problem but was for me
and will be for
others using outlook 2010 and jaws 13.

Hello Mark;
I will say to you, since I've installed jaws13 I havenotice
the jaws
behavior as more sluggish then jaws12. Although I'm not
experiencing your
problems, Jaws doesn't always read open messages
automatically, Goes silent
when I move through messages with the arrow keys, So, I did
go back to 12
when using outlook

Hi David,
Wow, I found the settings you mentioned but they didn't
change my JAWS
trouble. I did find one interesting thing though. I exited
JAWS 13 and
loaded JAWS 12 and the E-mail list read perfectly as before.
Then I reloaded
JAWS 13 and all the issues with the Message list came back.
So, I believe it
is an issue with the settings in JAWS 13. Now, if I could
only find the
right setting to change...
Thank you for keeping with me on this project.

God bless,
Mark

Hi David,
I appreciate your kind help. The problems started this
morning after
jaws installed the latest update.
I am not sure how to access the view menu. I tried JAWS
key + v. I
didn't see anything like the settings you mentioned in your
E-Mail.
     Thank you.

God bless,
Mark

Hello there;

Is this something that happens each and every time you open
outlook?
Or, has this just started,
Have you unloaded and reloaded jaws?
Closed and reopened outlook?
I'm using jaws13 and outlook 2010 and I'm not experiencing
this behavior.
I will mention,
I have,
Navigation pane set to normal,
Reading pane set to off,
The to-do-bar set to off.
You do this through the view menu,

Hi
I installed the latest version of JAWS 13. After that
when I am
navigating the list of E-Mails in my In Box, it says the
proper information
about each E-Mail as I arrow to it. However, When I tell
JAWS to read the
line to hear the information about the E-Mail JAWS is
currently on, I hear
garbled information from some other part of the screen. Any
ideas on how to
fix this?
     Thank you.

God bless,
Mark
