Hi Jerry,

When I send an email to several people using Windows Mail, I use almost the
same steps as I do using Outlook Express. I always use the BCC field when I
send emails to several people. The revised steps for Windows Mail are
below.

You don't have to have the BCC field highlighted to do this but,
highlighting the BCC field is probably a good idea until you get used to the
way it works.

1. After pressing control + F, to forward, control +N, for a new message, or
control + R, to reply, tab down to the BCC field to get ready to enter your
recipients.

2. Press Alt + T, for tools, press the letter R, for select recipients, &
tab 2 times to Address List, list view. You should be at the top of your
contacts list.

3. You can arrow down through the list or go by first letter navigation.
However you navigate the contacts list, whenever you have a name highlighted
that
you want enter into the Bcc field, press, Alt + B, on each name you want to
send this message to. Invoking the Alt + B keystroke is the keystroke for
adding names to the BCC field. Alternatively, invoking the, Alt +T
keystroke will add names to the, To: field, & invoking the, Alt + C
keystroke will
add names to the, CC: field.

4. After you have added all the names you are sending this message to, tab 8
times to the, List Bcc, List view, arrow down this list to make sure that
you
have included everyone you want to add. If all the people you want are
there, tab 1 more time to, Okay, & press the spacebar.

5. Now, tab to the subject field, do whatever you have to do here, tab to
the edit field, type in your message, & send as normal.

Hope this helps & doesn't scare you away from using the Bcc Field! It gets
really easy after you do it a few times & get used to the way it works.
Take
care.

Mike

Hi Vicky,
To send an email to one or more of your contacts from the contacts folder,
and using windows mail:

1. In your Contacts folder, select one or more contacts.
2. Open their context menu, then open the Action sub-menu (access key A),
and then press Enter to choose the first menu item which is Send E-mail.
3. A New Message window opens. The one or more contacts are already entered
in the To edit box, and the focus is at the end of this edit box.

More info about windows mail can be found in this guide to windows mail for

Hi Mike, I just found out, that if I use the Right Arrow after useing
Control+Shift+C, that I can read all the addresses that I thought I'd lost.
However, pressing Enter on a name there, takes me into the Properties rather
than filling in the "To" field
How do you select a name and start a new email? Thanks! Vicky
