Since there was just a few posts on Powerpoint, this might have some insight to answers regarding the discussion.

Seminars@Hadley Presents: Preparing Powerful PowerPoint 2010 Presentations for Blind Users (Part 2)
Date: Tuesday, December 6, 2011
Time: 10:00 AM CST, 16:00 GMT

The ability to create and give professional, informative presentations is increasingly becoming a necessary skill in both the workplace and educational arenas. Creating the PowerPoint presentation is only the first, and often easier, step in the process. Ensuring your presentation is presented professionally with confidence can be a daunting task for presenters who are visually impaired.

Join Seminars@Hadley as Hadley Instructor Amy Salmon presents Part 2 of the series on Preparing & Presenting Powerful PowerPoint Presentations for Blind Users. This seminar focuses on strategies and tools for using advanced features in PowerPoint, ensuring the accessibility of your PowerPoint presentation and for improving your PowerPoint presentation skills. In this seminar you will learn how to:
Insert and customize audio elements on a slide
Insert and customize slide animation effects
Insert and properly label graphics that have alternate text
Ensure accessibility of your presentation for other users who are visually impaired
Create handouts of your presentation
Access and use PowerPoint features to improve your presenting skills
Note: This seminar will use PowerPoint 2010, which is quite a bit different than earlier versions. If you are not currently using PowerPoint 2010, please be aware that all features and functions demonstrated in the seminar may not work the same in your version.

This 60 minute seminar will be moderated by Hadley Ambassador Billy Brookshire. Space in this seminar is limited. Please only register if you know you are available to attend so that others are not closed out
