Leonard,

1. Click File > Import and Export.

2. Choose the action "Import from another program or file" and click Next.

3. Choose the file type "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click Next.

4. Browse to the file containing the addresses and click Next.

5. Choose the destination folder "Contacts" and click Next.

6. Click "Map Custom Fields" and follow the instructions to specify how fields in the saved file correspond to fields in Outlook contacts.

7. Click Finish.

On Step 6, I haven't done that in Outlook 2007, but I know you have to be careful there to make sure, for example, that you get the email address specified to go to the correct field.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] importing an address .csv file

When deciding how a an address book .csv MS XL file should be imported in to outlook 2007 which of the choices should I need to indicate? I don't see MS
XL 2007 as one of my choices.
