Have you got 'detect languages' checked? [it is in JAWS Settings Center; type lang; and you will see it (checked or unchecked) in the search results.] If so, then I'm wondering if eloquence is saying 'AFK' for Afrikaans, because perhaps the person typing has their keyboard language preference set to that language.

Hi folks



I'm just very curious!



I received a file today saved in docx format. When reading it in Word 2010 at the beginning the speech synth which is eloquence says AFK [as far as I
can make it out] each time you down arrow.



However, it does not show on my braille display at all!



Does anyone know  what this means?  I'm just curious.
