Google is working fine with JAWS 12 and XP.

I still prefer classic Google to its various spin-offs and permutations. By
toggling JAWS browser mode off with Insert-Z, I am able to select and set my
preferences on the Search Settings page.

In the asseseble version that quit working if you go down near the bottom of
the page there is a short form that askes for your e mail address and has a
edit box to tell them what you think of the joys of the new version.
Then you will find a send button. I was under the impression that when I hit
it the message did indeed send. as you might have guessed I did not get a
reply. grin. There have been several other versions of Google offered on
the list that work quite well with my equipment and I suggest you give them
all a try and see what you prefer.

Yep, I did use Ask.com. That's how I found Google's phone number. But as I
said, I can't find any customer support email address for them.

Okay, gang, I found Google's main phone number. It's 650-623-0000. For
those of you with Skyte or unlimited long distance who don't mind being
placed on hold forever, you can give them a call a register your complaint
about the lack of accessibility on the Search Settings page. I could not
find any email address for their customer support. They are obviously not
very consumer friendly.

Try ask.com and see if that works.

And exactly how do you contact Google? I haven't been able to find any
contact information for them anywhere. No email address or phone number.
When you visit their contact page, you are then directed to their help
center, but this provide no email addresses or phone numbers. You just go
around in circles and eventually give up in frustration. Oh, I did find a
page for praising a specific Google product, but notfor criticizing it.
Very sneaky. Obviously, they are not interested in hearing user feedback or
complaints. If anyone has found Google's email address or phone number,
please post it for the rest of us.
