OK. I downloaded the New Yorker from Audible and it appears to have worked although I am not clear about the sequence of steps I took. But I think that what I have to do is press the download link, then alt S and then alt N to know what is happening. The New Yorker did get to where it was supposed to go which is the downloads folder in the Audible folder and I can now transfer it to my SD card with the Humanware Companion or just by copying and pasting it into the correct audible folder for the stream on the SD card. But getting that SD card out of the card reader on the new computer is very difficult. I've only managed this once so I'm not sure of anything yet. Thank you for telling me about alt S. Control J didn't seem to be relevant. .

Hello there; Perhaps you can tell us the steps you take? As for downloading a book, When you enter on the download button, just press alt+s to save, It then will download into your default folder, which is most likely your downloads folder, which is found in your username folder. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Miriam Vieni Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2011 3:13 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] What differences do I have to know to use IE 9? Downloading NLS books is harder and so far, I can't find out how to download audible books. I hate it! I am running jaws 13 on a windows home premium 64 bit machine, have wondered about switching to IE 9. Is there any advantage to switching, and what do I need to know that is different than IE 8? I'm sure this has been talked about here before, but I wasn't paying attention to the thread I guess.
