Hi Cathie, Try the following; Alt + tab until you have your Jaws window in focus.
2. Press your alt key, press the letter (O, for options, & the letter B, for basics. 3. Tab to, Run JAWS from System Tray, & press the spacebar to check this box if it's unchecked. 4. Now, tab to okay & press the enter / spacebar to save the change & close. Now Jaws will reside in the syystem tray & will be out of the alt _+ tab order. Take care. I can not find the place to make it run in the background. I’m using windows 7 & jaws 12; am fairly sure that this was not a problem on windows xp.
