Hi John,

Try the following;
1. Press Windows Key + E, for Windows Explorer
2. Press Jaws / Insert Key + V, for quick settings.
3. Arrow down or Tab 1 time to list view.
4. Press the letter F, 2 times or until you have , Focus Loss Announcement,
highlighted. Make sure this is checked. Now, a little side note; Press the
applications / context menu key & make sure that, save the setting is
checked! After checking Focus Loss Announcement, press enter to save your
change & close, provided that save the setting was checked when you pressed
the applications key. If save the setting wasn't checked, just press enter
on it to check it & close the context menu, if it was checked, just press
escape. Hope this helped. Take care.
Mike

  Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws losing focus

  I have jaws 13 and windows xp and when I bring up my drive selections for
example c d e when I enter on the c drive the main drive jaws says lost
focus and it won't read the list as it did in early jaws any suggestions. I
did alt tab for it to try to gain focus but it still says lost focus.
