Sounds doable.
Thanks.

Hello there;
If you installed a stand alone
Macafee security advisor,
You can uninstall it from add slash remove,
On the other hand,
If you're Uninstalling an integrated installation:
You can;
1. Close all web browsers.
2. Go to Start, Settings, and select and enter on Control Panel.
3. Enter on Add/Remove Programs.
4. Select your McAfee Security Suite from the programs list, and enter on
Remove.
5. When prompted, only check the box beside SiteAdvisor
6. Enter Remove and allow the wizard to complete.
7. Restart your computer.
If you only wish to temporarily remove SiteAdvisor, you can disable the
browser add-on without uninstalling the program.
For Internet Explorer:
1. Click on Tools.
2. Select Manage Add-ons.
3. Select Toolbars and Extensions.
4. Select the McAfee, Inc. header (this should cause McAfee SiteAdvisor
Toolbar, Scriptproxy, and McAfee SiteAdvisor BHO to be highlighted).
5. Click Disable All.
6. Close and reopen Internet Explorer.
For Mozilla Firefox:
1. Open Firefox.
2. Click the Tools menu and select Add-ons.
3. Select Extensions.
4. Select McAfee SiteAdvisor and click Disable.
5. Close and reopen FireFox.
I hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll have to search around for that setting.
I've looked a bit but, could not find it as of yet.

You must have the McAfee site security advisor installed. I don't have
McAfee, but I think that service can be3 disabled under the options menu.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] McAfee sitead?
I have XP and 12.00.
Lately, I've been getting something that pops up saying McAfee site-ad.
It is really annoying. my sighted wife says there is a black box with
those words, "Mc Afee site-ad" or, something close to that.
Any ideas on how to stop this?
I was making some changes with C cleaner and got a Google Chrome notice.
I went to add/remove programs and deleted Google chrome.
Thanks for any help.
