it, or press c (until upper or lower case) and then enter

Using Windows Vista w/32 bit system, JAWS version 11, and MS Word
2007, I need a confirmation on a symbol. A friend of mine told me
that using the ALT + 135 will put the french accented letter C in a
word document. When I performed this function, I got "Ccidilla" Can
anyone confirm this operation's accuracy?
