Similar setup here, although I have JAWS 12 on this particular box.
ctrl-y is working OK. While in Excel, do an jaws-key + 1 to turn on
keyboard help and hit ctrl-y to see if it is being used by JAWS for
something. If so, you can try using the bypass key first. If not, then
um, well, here's a paddle.
