I don't use outlook 2007 but WLM so since no one has answered this as of yet. . .
I go to the list of messages and leave it closed
Then I tap the application key and up arrow to add contactand enter
The other way to do it in WLM is control shift c for contact which used to be control shift b for address book in Outlook express. All I can say is give these a ttry and see if it leads you correctly or will trigger your thoughts to discover it yourself.
That is the best I can offer though
