Hi Rich.
When you are in the "Save as" dialogue box, focused on the Filename field,
than press alt+5 probably alt+3 if it is an older version of Word than
2003.
Now you should be prompted for the ethiquete for the new folder.

I have XP home and 13.0.
In "word", how do I create a new folder?
I looked in menus, "save as", and tabbed around but could not find, create
new folder.
I also looked around in "options" but did not see anything seemed to fit.
