Hit insert-6 for Jaws settings dialog.

Search for Key labels.

Press spacebar on the manage key labels that comes up in your results.

In the list of 84 options, type T for tab. Tab to the speak/mute button and press spacebar to change it to mute. Tab to Ok to save it.

You can change this for each application or if you hit control-shift-D when you bring up the settings search with insert-6, you can change the behavior for all applicatiions.

Hth,
Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

Does anybody have instructions or can direct me to find the method on how to silence the tabkey ?
