Hi Vicky & Kathy,

This is where I was a bit confused myself but, what you do is when you hear 
whatever sound you have assigned for System Notification, indicating the 
Balloon
message, you left mouse click right there!  When this balloon message pops 
up, this balloon message has the focus of the screen.  So, you don't have 
to,
Alt + Tab, to find it, it's right there, just press the left mouse click 
button!  Or, from what I understand anyways, you can sometimes go to the 
system
tray & find it, like Windows Updates, for example.  Hope this helps you as 
much as it did me!  LOL
