Hi Mike, That was the way I did it. After saving the addressbook in OE, as a csv file, i put it on a flash drive. i took the flash drive to my new laptop and imported it based on those instructions you had. It worked like a charm. I was afraid it wouldn't, going from OE to O 2010 but it was fine. Good luck, Karen
