Hi Windows Media Player. which ever version runs with Windows 7. I'm not
impressed with WMP any more. I think I'll look around for another program.
If you have any suggestions?

hi,

ok what program did you use to try to rip the files off the CD? media player usually automatically gets permission to rip a protected disk and if its set
to save them as mp3 your usually free up after that.

otherwise i would attempt the rip again with CDEX ripper and see if you keep
having the problem.

Sorry David. It's the CD I have to unprotect. Maybe I didn't explain
properly.

I imagine this is so you can rip with media player or some such other
program and then copy the files over using JAWS. The trick is on the side
of
the card where the notch is located you will find a small slider switch
with
your finger nail, push it toward the front of the card where all the
ridges
are located. That should do it as when the switch is pushed back the card
is
locked so to speak.

Hi Listers

I am trying to copy a new CD which I have just ripped, onto my Stream SD
card and when I copy it over I'm getting a message "that it's right
protected and I need to unright protect it". Is this possible to do, and
if
it is how do I do it?

thanks in anticipation
