Susie,
If you install Jaws latest update as a clean install and as a administrator,
it is workable, but does have its problems. Well in my case, anyway. Will
say, the latest update is a far lot better than the prior update, in my
opinion, but does have a lot of room for improvement.

Hi Susie,
I have Jaws 13 on both my desktop and laptop and have had no trouble at
all
with either of them.
If you need any help in navigating Windows 7, just yell and I'll share
what
I've learned. The funny thing is, now I forget how to do things with
Windows XP until I stop and think about it for a minute or so.
Once you get past the
Fear, I think you'll love Windows 7.

Hello there;
No, I don't think you should be worried at all!
Once you get your new computer/laptop,
And you install jaws13,
Windows 7 should work right out of the box so to speak.
Regarding your email,
A few small changes, and everything should work quite well.
Sure there's a little learning curve, but, once you get the feel of
windows
7, you should be fine.
If you're not sure of laptop keystrokes, you could use a usb keyboard.
Just shout if you have more questions.
Take care.
