Hi David,

Were you able to navigate to the threats & check / select them for removal?
Or, were they checked / selected by default & you then pressed the remove
button. If you were able to navigate to the threats & check the ones you
wanted removed, would you please tell us how you were able to navigate to
them? I have tried, so many various ways, & was still unable to check the
necessary box to select all the threats to be removed. I finally had my
wife check the box with the mouse, & now that the particular box is checked,
I don't have any more problems with it. .

Also, running Real Time Protection does not get everything! I still come up
with threats every time I run a full / complete scheduled or manual scan, &
I am not very big on Internet browsing. Take care.
Mike

  Hello there;
Well, I really don't know what the fuss is with SAS I just installed the
  free version, did a scan,
  Found 3 items,
I was able to remove them, and then remove from the quarantine folder.

I use the paid version of SAS and SAS automatically checks all the malware
  it finds.

Besides that is only a second level of security from malware. there is an
option in the paid version of SAS for real time protection which pretty
much
eliminates the need to do the full scan anyway thus making the whole issue
raised by the lister as moot.

That only occurs with the free version though right?
  I absolutely hated that!
I, however, noticed after paying 10 bucks for a one year subscription, it
  did it on its own.

Funny you should bring this up. I posted about this very problem just
yesterday on three other lists, and unfortunately, it appears that SAS is
no
longer JAWS accessible because you now need sighted help on the results
page
to find the check boxes for selecting the detected threats you want to
quarantine. I spent nearly an hour going over the SAS results page with
the
JAWS cursor after a quick scan revealed two potentially harful threats had
been detected, but could not find these threats listed on the results page
nor the check boxes to select them for removal. The previous version of
SAS, version 4.56, was totally JAWS accessible, but it no longer updates
the
database definitions, so I was forced to update to the current version,
SAS
5.0, and much to my chagrin, discovered that the user interface had been
completely revamped to make it much more difficult to navigate. I suggest
ditching SAS in favor of Malware Bytes which is much more JAWS friendly.
