Hi all, I've just about had it with JAWS authorization.
Today, I did, what I think, normal users would do in most cases when setting up a machine: installed Windows, installed and activated JAWS, and then applied the updates offered in Windows Update. Two of those were driver updates, which I guess messed up the ILM system, because I'm suddenly being asked to reactivate JAWS. This never happens with Microsoft Office activation, Windows activation, or really any program I've ever used other than JAWS, and I'm definitely not alone here - I happen to know others experience similar bizarre issues. Is there anything I can do, with a weekend ahead of me where Freedom Scientific's offices will not be reachable, to restore JAWS to a proper state? Should I try to temporarily roll back drivers - maybe that will restore the activation? FS, if you're listening: I absolutely love JAWS, but am not so pleased when I cannot use my legitimately purchased copy of it.
